Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals

Republican National Convention, July 18, 2016

This “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” web portal has been created by The Shirazi Law Group, Inc., a top Atlanta-based immigration law firm. It is specifically dedicated to educating potential beneficiaries of the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act. The DREAM Act, if enacted, would allow certain young immigrants brought into the United States as children, who are now out of or have no immigration status, to register and regularize their status in the United States.

Although the DREAM Act has not been enacted, President Obama on June 15, 2012 announced a new government policy to grant a form of relief called “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” to young illegal immigrants in the United States (often referred to as “DREAMers”) who would benefit from the DREAM Act if enacted. This relief allows those who qualify to live and work in the United States for a two-year renewable period of time.

The Shirazi Law Group, Inc. is available to educate and assist potential beneficiaries of President Obama’s DREAMer relief so please feel free to contact us at your convenience.
